Pimalai Resort and Spa offers accommodation from:
1,680 ฿ to ฿ per night.
The Pimalai Resort and Spa can be found nestled in lush, tropical forest at the far end of Kantiang Bay beach and is the final word in five-star luxury. Whether you are visiting them for your wedding, honeymoon or anniversary, maybe an action-packed holiday with the family, a “getting away from it all” break to soothe your body and mind or even a diving experience – The Pimalai pride themselves on ensuring your complete satisfaction.
Arriving by speedboat onto the jetty, you are greeted not only by aquamarine waters and pristine white sand but smiles, wais (a respectful Thai greeting comprising a small bow with hands pressed together) and a lei (a garland of flowers given in warm welcome) from the friendly, professional staff – and this is just the beginning of making sure your stay is unforgettable.
Choose from 4 different restaurants at The Pimalai Resort and Spa. The Seven Seas Wine Bar and Restaurant sits high above the bay offering superb panoramic views to accompany your fine dining experience. The a la carte, fusion style menu is complemented by an international wine list to satisfy the most discerning of tastes. The Seven Seas Restaurant is perfect for that special occasion or perhaps the final evening of your stay.
Or maybe you would like to choose the tasty, fully organic Spice N Rice Thai Restaurant. Pimalai Resort and Spa boasts its own organic farm based in Northern Thailand near Chang Rai and this supplies all the vegetables, fruit and herbs for the dishes on the menu. Their goal of combining a high quality restaurant with an eco-friendly, chemical free approach to farming has come together in Spice N Rice Thai Restaurant – an achievement they are very proud of.
If more informal dining is for you then try either Rak Talay Beach Bar and Restaurant or The Banyan Tree Poolside Cafe. Both offer great pizza, sandwiches, pasta, salads and snacks. In the evenings the Rak Talay Beach Bar cooks up succulent seafood and steak BBQ whilst you relax to the gentle sound of the waves in the nearby bay.
PLUS – The Pimalai Resort and Spa offers a wide variety of both exhilarating and relaxing activities ranging from boogie boarding, stand-up paddle boarding and sailing to sunset cruises with wine tasting. However, if you only choose two things to do during your stay, our pick would be SCUBA diving and the spa.
MINUS – there aren’t really many minuses about The Pimalai Resort and Spa – most guests are very happy with all aspects of their stay. The rare complaint we hear tends to be born out of a misunderstanding or mis-communication between the Thai staff and the customer, something that is always going to happen now and again when people aren’t communicating in their mother tongue.
The awarding-winning, environmentally friendly Scubafish at Pimalai is the only PADI 5-star Dive Resort on the island and the only dive centre in Ko Lanta to depart from Kantiang Bay. If you dive with Scubafish, you need only walk down to the floating jetty and they will do the rest.
Scubafish at Pimalai and their friendly, professional staff cater for all levels of ability from those of you who just want to try diving for the day to the full range of PADI Courses. Already a certified a diver? Take a guided tour of one the world-class dive sites and discover natural beauty of the Andaman Sea’s stunning coral reefs.
After a day of diving what better on the following day but a relaxing spa treatment. The award-winning Pimalai Spa is designed with the aim of bringing guests back to nature. The seven treatment rooms or salas blend with the natural beauty of the jungle to provide the ultimate luxurious, rejuvenating experience. Choose from traditional Thai massage, pedicures, body wraps and much more. The Pimalai’s Signature Massage is particularly recommended. Using the latest therapy techniques, pressure is not just applied from above, but also from the top, toes and from both sides. This variety of pressure directions facilitates the stimulation of tissue deep within all parts of the body, aiding relaxation, stress relief or just for plain old pampering.
