Anda Lanta Resort is a family-friendly place to stay offering mid-range to luxury accommodation in the deep south of Ko Lanta. Located in Waterfall Ball in Klong Jark – the next bay south from Kantiang Bay, it’s the only resort on this part of the beach, giving it a very private and secluded atmosphere. The rooms are tastefully made from local materials and surrounded by tropical rainforest gardens.
Anda Lanta Resort has a good range of accommodation with 7 Beachfront Villas, 12 Deluxe Seaview Rooms, 12 Garden Cottages, 8 Deluxe Rooms & 8 Superior Rooms.
Top View Resort is a low-key, family-run bungalow resort. Whilst the accommodation itself is fairly basic, you’ll find some of the most spectacular, panoramic views on the island.
Top View Resort has a total of fourteen rooms with a choice of fan or air-con and double or twin rooms. Each bungalow has an en-suite bathroom, cold water shower and balcony with fabulous, panoramic views that span Ko Rok, Ka Haa and Ko Phi Phi.
Cashew Nut Tree Bungalows are a group of eight inexpensive bungalows located just a short walk (3 minutes) from the beach in Kantiang Bay.
Each large bungalow is simply furnished with a fan, double bed, en-suite bathroom with cold water shower and a small terrace outside. They are particularly popular with long-stay visitors and backpackers on a budget.
La Laanta Hideaway Resort is located on Bamboo Beach (Ao Mai Pai) and is the very last resort on Ko Lanta, just before the National Park. Offering unrivalled privacy on the quietest, most private beach on the island, the resort boasts two beautiful swimming pools – an infinity pool with jacuzzi and a second pool right next to the beach.
Each of the 20 villas are tastefully and individually decorated with paintings by local and Bangkok artists, to create a clean, comfortable, light and airy, castaway feel.
Baan Phu Lae Resort is a small and friendly beach resort offering traditional-style, beach-front bungalows with breathtaking sea views out over Bamboo Bay beach.
You can choose a double or twin room with fan or air-conditioning. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with toilet and shower. They have a great little open-air restaurant which is well worth a trip down south, friendly, welcoming staff and a true chill-out, castaway feel.
Bamboo Bay Resort is a slightly quirky, wild and rustic resort, which rambles up the hillside overlooking Ao Mai Pai (Bamboo Bay), in the deep south of the island. The bungalows are joined by a labyrinth of pathways and steps that meander through the untamed jungle.
The 21 bungalows vary in size to sleep 2 to 6 people and although each bungalow is built a little differently to conform to the hillside, all have hot-water showers and a private terrace that faces out over the, somewhat rocky, beach below.
Sammy’s Residence is a group of five large concrete bungalows, tucked away at the top of a small hill just a few minutes walk from the beach in Kantiang Bay.
Each of the warm peach or welcoming bright orange bungalows is furnished with a fridge, 4-poster bed complete with mosquito net, coffee table and chairs, wardrobe and a private, tiled balcony with partial views of the bay. They also have en-suite bathrooms with cold-water shower and sink.
